Square of the 260 Children — commemorative plaque

In front of this ordinary primary school, a plaque recalls that 260 Jewish children from the school were deported, many after the Vél d'Hiv roundup. None returned. The headmaster Joseph Migneret tried to save some pupils and was later recognised as Righteous Among the Nations.
